My Approach to Therapy
I work with adults and adolescents around issues including anxiety, addiction, chronic pain, trauma,
depression, life transitions and attachment issues. I am dedicated to helping individuals discover new
perspectives and solutions to difficult life challenges so that they may unleash and experience their
true potential. I am passionate about facilitating client’s empowerment and relationship
improvement. I have extensive experience working with clients of all developmental stages, adults
and adolescents. I provide client-centered therapy while employing a range of modalities.

Provided individual and family therapy. Provided group therapy sessions, leading both women’s and
men’s groups in the treatment of dual diagnoses (addiction and co-dependency). Conducted interviews
and initial screenings to assess client condition. Make diagnoses and developed comprehensive treatment
plans. Provided crisis intervention, generated clinical chart notes and delivered psychoeducational

Conducted clinical assessments, provided crisis intervention, and developed individualized treatment
plans for multicultural adult and adolescent clients with a range of diagnostic issues, including mood
disorders and substance abuse disorders. Facilitated individual and family therapy in an out-patient
environment employing CBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Seeking Safety, and Trauma Focused-CBT.
Bay Area Addiction & Research Treatment – Substance Abuse Counselor
Provided therapeutic crisis intervention services, psychosocial clinical assessments, and treatment plans
for clients. Worked with clients receiving opioid replacement therapy (methadone), conducting ongoing
assessment of client’s progress to determine adjustment of dosages.
