My Approach to Therapy
I have been working with culturally diverse children, youth, adolescents, and families struggling with a variety of mental illnesses that include anxiety, depression, trauma and borderline personality disorder. In addition since 2008 I have been working with children and families with behavioral health struggles and children diagnosed with Autism, ADHD and other developmental disorders. I embrace a treatment philosophy – we are shaped by our thoughts, emotions and behaviors therefore with time and effort change is always possible. We are all capable of change and growth. With the utilization of various evidence based practices (CBT, DBT,Mindfulness )my goal is to assist in empowering children, adolescents and families navigate any social or behavioral concerns that may arise.
