My Approach to Therapy

Sage believes healing begins within a safe, collaborative therapeutic relationship where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. She works with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, low self-esteem, life transitions, and difficulty accepting parts of themselves.

Using a client-centered, humanistic, and trauma-informed approach, Sage helps clients reconnect with their authentic selves, build emotional resilience, and develop healthier ways of understanding and responding to life’s challenges. She provides honest, compassionate feedback in a warm, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment that encourages growth and lasting change.

Sage is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and integrates psychodynamic principles, strengths-based interventions, grounding techniques, and culturally responsive care to support each client’s unique journey.
